Regional Commodity Buyer for mechanisms (Tools & Equipment) including Drawing Spare Parts activity.

Key duties:
- Management of the supplier panel;
- Implementation of the purchasing strategy;
- Negotiation and implementation of contracts (including framework agreements);
- Management of the purchasing process: request for quotations, communication, negotiation, offers analysis, sourcing... (Southern Europe scope);
- Implementation of catalogs and e-procurement solution;
- Performance management and monitoring of budget action plans (VAVE / Process / Product / Make or Buy / Productivity / Cash Actions / Price impact).

Buyer into the international transport sector of Liquefied Natural Gas, I was responsible of the entire needs of two LNG vessels. My missions included direct and indirect purchasing (spare parts, tools and maintenance services).

In an international context and under the supervision of the Head of Department Purchasing and Logistics, the Purchaser is responsible for:
- Assist the purchase manager in his tasks;
- Perform daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers;
- Monitoring of deliveries;
- Control of all requests for the vessels in his portfolio;
- Analysis of the bids received;
- Budget control before placing orders;
- Research and selection of suppliers;
- Transmits applicable procedures (safety, environment, quality) to suppliers and subcontractors;
- Evaluation of existing suppliers in the panel;
- Monitoring of deliveries at logistic platforms, to the agents and on board;
- Monitoring of chartered vessels in case of absence of the logistical buyer.

As a Buyer in the heavy industry that is the energy sector, my mission was directly related to MRO activities of energy plants (including nuclear). On the scope of Southern Europe (France, Belgium, Spain and overseas territories), I was in charge of several purchasing commodities including: mechanical works (turbine and reactor), civil engineering, warehousing and the specific tools (from design to delivery).

- Technical follow-up and administrative management of tenders.
- Consultation and exchange with suppliers.
- Analysis and negotiations of offers.
- Support for the drafting of framework contracts.
- Support for the construction of preliminary project files.

The Spare Parts Purchaser has to secure the supplies in order to meet the needs as quickly as possible. With a customer-oriented mindset, the department had speed and efficiency as priorities.

- Lead the relationship with suppliers and control the delivery lead time and quality.

- Managing billing issues.
- Monitor the suppliers’ performance.

As a Packaging Purchaser in the food industry, my mission was to manage the operational side of the job and secure the supplies for the overall needs of the plant on my scope. Located at the very heart of a production site, my team was spread over several countries and continents (France, Ireland, Egypt and South Africa).

Key duties:
Supply raw materials to meet the production plan, taking into consideration contracts, batch sizes, inventory policies and storage capacity. The Vendor Scheduler also lead the relationship with suppliers.

1) Purchase Order Management
- Create, release and follow through of Purchase Orders to meet the demands of the production plan and Product Commercialization requirements for their materials.
- Ensure manufacturing requirements are met and inventory policy adhered to follow through and monitor inbound deliveries with Suppliers, Warehouse, Logistic and QA.
- Communicate in a timely manner changes which will impact production plan by revising the delivery schedule to ensure that it reflects changes either internally or externally driven, e.g., changes in customer priorities.
- Liaise with Master Schedulers, Production Schedulers, Lab, Warehouse, Product Commercialization, Formulations and Customer Services as appropriate.

2) Materials Review Board
- Support Age of Stock process by ensuring inventory levels comply with company’s policy and write-offs are minimized.

- Monitor Supplier Performance.

5) Centralize Ingredient constraints reporting / Support root cause analysis / Make improvement suggestions.

Support the generation of the Master Schedule, Weekly Production Plan and the overall production priorities to meet customer demand, forecasts, finished goods inventory and production line efficiency goals.

Key duties:
- Support the generation of the master schedule and weekly production plan for the Company by converting demand (forecast, customer orders, customer schedules, commercialization timeline, etc) into a feasible production plan to ensure matched sets of materials and capacities are available to meet the needs of customers in a cost-effective and production efficient manner. Revisit and revise plan (if necessary) to incorporate changes either internally or externally driven (eg, changes in customer priorities).
- Identify & communicate past due / Make improvement suggestions.
- Monitor Master schedule changes in collaboration with Finite schedulers.

Expedite and route movement of incoming and outgoing cargo and freight shipments in airline, train, and trucking terminals, and shipping docks. Take orders from customers and arrange pickup of freight and cargo for delivery to loading platform.

- Collect and complete the shipping documents.
