Investigation of drilling vibrations identification with machine learning:

- Extract, transform and clean the data
- Exploration of the data with unsupervised learning et dimensional reduction techniques (t-SNE).
- Apply computer vision techniques (attention mechanism, gradcam, etc) to drilling logs (time series) with convolutional neural networks (CNN).
- Define a method to train machine learning algorithms on drilling logs from different wells.

Perform engineering studies (BHA and Drill String Design Analysis & Well Construction Engineering) for oil & gas operators and service companies with DrillScan softwares:

Drillstring fatigue prediction on short radius well campaign (Rabi field in Gabon).
- WellIntegrity:Casingdesignonexplorationwell(AyamefieldinIndonesia). Casing wear prediction and post-analysis with calliper logs for deepwater (North Platte) and HPHT wells (Elgin-Franklin, Glendronach).
- Well planning, trajectory reconstruction with mapping of local dog legs and casing deformation and standoff.
- Rig sizing for side-track campaign on Rio del rey (Cameroon) optimizing BHA for most challenging wells in directional drilling and hydraulics.
- Pseudo real-time drilling dysfunctions monitoring for geothermal (Ilkirch, Vendenheim), shale gas wells (Vaca muerta) and HPHT (West Shetland). Post-Well MSE (Mechanical Specific Energy) analysis and bit design optimization on Elgin- Franklin and Vaca muerta.

Provide training on DrillScan softwares: WellScan trainings for Total, IFP (French Petroleum Institute) and RigFlower, BitScan training for Micon Drilling.

Business development: seek for new clients and new opportunities with known clients. Answer to clients needs by proposing engineering scope of work. Visit clients for service quality meeting.

Implementation of API Q2 standard in VAM® Field Service Mexico.

- Audit of the field service center and set up action plan to monitor progress and reach objectives.
- Field experience on onshore rigs supervising running operations of OCTG to ensure well integrity.
- Training of field service technicians on VAM® connections, good field practices, service reports and procedures. Performing competency assessment at rig site (OPITO competency assessor).
- Implementation of VAM® Field Service international database in Mexico. Train field service staff and technicians to use the database and adapt it to local needs. Improvement of the database and global management system.
- Support global management building reports from database (KPI, OCTG statistics, etc).
- Involved in projects to introduce new services for customers and improve safety on drilling rigs.

Following training program (VAM® Academy, OPITO Competency Assessor and management IT systems) the first three months in Aberdeen, UK.
